We are looking for an experienced, passionate and results-driven Software Manual Tester
to join our team! The ideal candidate is talented individual who has a keen eye
for detail and working knowledge of software and test design.
- S/he has the capability to run through tests, and the ability to analyse the results reporting
observations, bugs and glitches proactively. - S/he should be result-driven,
- Have good communication skills, and up-to-date knowledge of software programming
and software test design. - In this role s/he will ensure that our products,applications and systems work correctly.
Job Responsibilities
- Review and analyse system specification
- Analyzing user stories and use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
- Working with software developers to get an understanding of what the system is meant to do, its functionality and who the end users are
- Collaborate with QA Lead to develop effective strategies and test plans
- Execute test cases (manual ) and analyse results
- Executing all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
- Evaluate product code according to specifications
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects
- Report bugs and errors to development teams
- Help troubleshoot issues
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
- Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Requirements
- Bachelor and Master degree Required.( B.tech. B.sc , M.sc, M.tech Or any related to this field)
- 2-4 year experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr) and SQL
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to take constructive criticism
- Keen understanding of user experience
- Should be familiar and up-to-date with industry best practices
