Job Description:

Chitkara University is hiring for Assistant/Associate Professor and Professor for its Computer Science and Engineering Department.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Education–
Graduation- B.tech (CSE/IT)
Post Graduation- M.tech (CSE/IT)
PhD in Computer Science (Completed)

Experience–

Fresher candidate whose Ph.D. degree has been awarded can apply for the Post of Assistant Professor.
For Associate Professor- minimum 8 years of total experience with at least 3 years of experience post Ph.D.
For Professor- minimum 10 years of teaching experience with at least 8 years of experience post Ph.D.

Note-

B.tech/M.tech and Ph.D. is must. Candidates with BCA or MCA qualification will not be considered for this position.
Ph.D. must be completed/degree awarded (provisional degree can also be considered)

Roles and Responsibilities:

To contribute to the intellectual life of the department by engaging in high quality core teaching.
Adopt and implement innovative instructional methods.
Use innovative methodologies and unique pedagogy to deliver the course.
Develop professional logistics to improvise student performance.
Monitor and evaluate student academic progress, activities and progress
Guide, lead and mentor students in research projects.
Create, innovate and implement career-enhancement programs and activities.
Supervise student’s projects and encourage the students to participate in departmental and college activities.
Counsel them concerning their educational development and help them choosing their career path.
Transfer to students theoretical information, practical skills, methods and techniques.
Examine and provide students a feedback about their academic activity on regular basis.
Serve and support functional activities of departmental committees.
Create a positive environment for students during class hours and Stimulate analytical and rational thinking.
Establish and maintain good relationships with the rest of the staff, students and their parents.
