Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, along with other common libraries such as RSpec and Resque
- Good understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, knowledge of standard CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, complexity analysis)
- Experience with Cloud and infrastructure
- Integration of third party API’s, scraping, heavy data processing.
- Good understanding of server-side templating languages {{such as Liquid, Slim, etc depending on your technology stack}}
- Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful
- A knack for writing clean, readable Ruby code
- Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Able to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools – GIT
- Integration and development of various microservices
- Creating unit tests using RSpec
- Reviewing other developers code as well as suggesting improvements
- Algorithm development and general optimization
- Setting up CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborating with various stakeholders including QA, DevOps, PMs and other developers
- Solid understanding of deploying and maintaining Rails apps within the AWS environment.
- Set up workers and deploy across multiple instances.Skills
- Good team leader qualities
- Reviewing the work of other developers and providing feedback.
- Experience in Scrum/Agile methodology is a plus.
- Ensure that the Team is working as per the listed procedures
- Take and suggest measures to improve team productivity and mentor the team
- Should be flexible enough and be adaptable to the changing and varied work settings
- Should carefully analyse the details of all the work.
- Will be the interface between the team and the management.
