Job Description
As a Tableau Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reports to support business intelligence initiatives. Your primary focus will be to leverage Tableau’s capabilities to analyze and visualize data, provide insights, and enable data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, business stakeholders, and IT professionals, to understand requirements, design effective solutions, and implement Tableau solutions that meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop Tableau Dashboards
- Data Analysis and Visualization -Analyze complex data sets and identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Data Modeling and Integration – Understand data models and schemas to create efficient Tableau data sources. Integrate Tableau with various data sources, such as databases, data warehouses, and APIs. Write SQL queries and design data extracts to retrieve and transform data for Tableau dashboards. Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data pipelines and ensure data availability.
- Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting – Identify and resolve performance issues in Tableau dashboards. Optimize queries, calculations, and data sources to improve dashboard response times. Conduct troubleshooting and debugging to address any technical issues or errors.
