Deputy Manager – Taxation
Job Description:
- Preparation and/or review of corporate income tax and VAT/GST/Consumption tax returns
- Calculation of advance/estimated tax liabilities and ensuring timely payments of the same
- Ensuring accurate, timely filing of income tax and indirect tax returns
- Preparation and/or review of monthly income tax and indirect tax reconciliations
- Preparation and/or review of tax journal entries to be posted in accounting tool
- Undertaking of research on complex tax issues arising in regions such as EMEA, US etc.
- Maintenance of records of all tax filings and payments done
- Prepare various ad hoc reports required to support the tax calculations
- Assist in preparation of response to queries raised by tax authorities including collation of documents/details to be file
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant with 4 to 6 years of experience in tax (direct & indirect tax) compliances at a multinational organization (preferably Big 4s)
- Good knowledge of tax accounting and tax (direct & indirect tax) compliances
- Experience with India accounting standards and U.S. GAAP
- Experience working for a U.S. owned company would be an advantage
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Fluency in English (speaking & writing)
- Open to working during EMEA & US Shift timings
