Deputy Manager – Taxation

Job Description:

Preparation and/or review of corporate income tax and VAT/GST/Consumption tax returns
Calculation of advance/estimated tax liabilities and ensuring timely payments of the same
Ensuring accurate, timely filing of income tax and indirect tax returns
Preparation and/or review of monthly income tax and indirect tax reconciliations
Preparation and/or review of tax journal entries to be posted in accounting tool
Undertaking of research on complex tax issues arising in regions such as EMEA, US etc.
Maintenance of records of all tax filings and payments done
Prepare various ad hoc reports required to support the tax calculations
Assist in preparation of response to queries raised by tax authorities including collation of documents/details to be file

Qualifications:

Chartered Accountant with 4 to 6 years of experience in tax (direct & indirect tax) compliances at a multinational organization (preferably Big 4s)
Good knowledge of tax accounting and tax (direct & indirect tax) compliances
Experience with India accounting standards and U.S. GAAP
Experience working for a U.S. owned company would be an advantage
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
Fluency in English (speaking & writing)
Open to working during EMEA & US Shift timings
